Never Finished by David Goggins7 things I learned:
  • What has “happened to you” is not your fault, but it is your responsibility. You must take accountability for your whole life
  • It is your responsibility to find purpose in the challenges
  • Have a radically honest relationship with yourself. How to practice this?
    • Record an audio note of yourself venting in the 1st person
    • Play it back to yourself
    • Listening, makes it easier to be in the ‘observer’ seat. Your ability to assess the situation will be heightened
  • The more you run from the walls that enclose you, the more imprisoned you will become. The only way out is through
  • Discipline will always outlast talent
  • Obsess over the seconds. It’s those “one second decisions” that have the largest impact on our growth. Be present enough to be disciplined in these moments. How you do one thing, is how you do everything.
  • “Don’t finish when you are tired, finish when you are done.”

Till next time, be blessed. 💕

With love,
